For directors, Marketing & Communications, and anyone building flyers, slides, signage or merch. Keep it consistent, keep it simple.

Logo

The Cubtopia badge is the primary mark for the 8th NSW Cuboree. Use it as supplied, don't rebuild or trace it, and keep the animals, banner and boomerangs intact.

Do

Use the PNG for screens and slides, the PDF or AI file for print
Leave clear space around the badge of roughly a quarter of its width
Scale it proportionally (hold shift, or set both height and width together)
Use the JPG only when a transparent background isn't supported (e.g. some print quoting portals)

Don't

Recolour, outline, or apply filters/drop shadows to the badge
Stretch or skew it, or rotate it off-axis
Place it on a busy photo or low-contrast colour without a clear background behind it
Reproduce it below about 80px wide, the text stops being legible

Scouts NSW logo

Cubtopia is a Scouts NSW event, so the Scouts NSW logo carries through to official Cuboree materials alongside the Cubtopia badge, not instead of it. Use the full-colour version on light backgrounds, and the reversed (white text) version on navy or other dark backgrounds, such as the site footer.

Note: Service Leader Green is the same value as Bush above, reused deliberately rather than a mismatch. Participant Gold also matches core Gold. Only Line Leader Blue is a colour unique to the role cards.

Typography

Two typefaces, both free from Google Fonts. Baloo 2 carries headings and anything that needs personality, Nunito Sans handles body copy and needs to stay readable at small sizes.

Cubtopia, the 8th NSW Cuboree, runs 15–19 April 2027 at Cataract Activity Centre. Nunito Sans is used for all paragraph text, form labels, buttons and navigation, at regular and semi-bold weight.
